The TCML team is dedicated to improving the cannabis community in which we are part of. We believe in staying connected and involved by offering our time and expertise to non-profit organizations, each striving to make a difference to the population it serves. The GRIT Grant Program was established in 2016 to provide non-profits with the opportunity to access quality design, strategic marketing plans and promotional materials to help them achieve their goals.
The GRIT Grant Program donates a total of $10,000 each year to cannabis non-profits (two non-profit organizations are awarded a $5,000 grant each). Recipients must be of 501(c)3 status and located in the United States.
One $5,000 grant is awarded in the summer and one in the winter to the winning non-profit organizations. Application deadlines are April 15th for the summer grant and September 15th for the winter grant. Winning organizations are notified by the 15th of the following month.
Entries are scored by our Board of Advisors. Judges will score applications by the following: project definition, demonstrated value and previous agency experience. The board will submit the top three recommendations to TCML.
Key Points to Include
Organizations applying for the Grant are strongly encouraged to demonstrate the following in the application: clear understanding of the goals and objectives of the project they wish to complete, willingness to work with a design and marketing firm (previous agency experience preferred but not required), understanding of the value a professional firm brings to the organization, demonstration of a realistic, well-planned project, schedule and workflow.
